Global Estimates

View all your estimates in a single page.

Updated over 3 months ago

Estimates allows you to quickly create well-designed estimates to share with your clients and using the global estimates page, creating, tracking, and editing those estimates is even easier! You're able to see all your estimates in one place and create new estimates without going through the opportunities flow or card.

The global estimates page is accessible under the More drop down menu by choosing Estimates:

Using Global Estimates

Global Estimates are available to all Pro Team Admins & Owners. Estimates exist within Opportunities, and although you can see the Estimates outside of your Opportunities here, you'll still need access to Opportunities in order to see the Global Estimates page.

In the Global Estimates, you'll see all estimates from your active opportunities (ones that have not been archived or lost). You have the ability to sort and Search the table, filter by opportunity Stage, and filter by the current estimate version's Status.

Each Estimate will appear in a column with information easily accessible to you. The columns provide you:

  • Name - this is the name of the Opportunity the Estimate belongs to.

  • Stage - this is the stage the Opportunity is currently in.

  • Status - this is the status of the most current version: Draft, Published, Approved or Declined?

  • Last Updated - this was the last time the Estimate was updated.

  • Total - the total of the most current version of the Estimate.

You're also able to create estimates from this page using the Add Estimate button at the top. Creating an estimate will still create an Opportunity; however, you can always directly access the estimate through this page.

Creating Estimates through the Omnibutton on the Dashboard

In addition to creating estimates through the global estimates page, you can now create estimates directly from the New omnibutton on the dashboard. Click the new button, select estimate, enter your estimate details, and your estimate will be created. You can save and return to the dashboard or save and view the estimate. Like estimates created from the global estimates page, there will be an opportunity created automatically.
