Creating a new BuildBook project is simple. Follow these steps and you'll be up and running in no time.

  1. Navigate to the "My Projects" screen, also known as your BuildBook "Home" screen
  2. Tap the red plus button in the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select your project type (New Construction, Kitchen Renovation, Bathroom Renovation, or Other Renovation), and then tap the red button at the bottom of the screen to continue.
  4. Enter the location of your new project, including street address, city, state, and zip code. Note: this step is optional, and you can always update it later in your project settings.
  5. Give your new project a name. By default, this will be the street number you entered in the previous step. You can change this to anything you'd like (e.g. "Tillman Residence"). Note: this step is required, but you can always update the project name later in your project settings.
  6. When you are ready, tap the red button at the bottom to create your project
  7. Optional: you will now be prompted to invite your Clients to your new project. Simply enter the email address for each Client you wish to invite and tap the red send invite button at the bottom. Note: this step is optional - you can tap skip in the top right if you are not yet ready to invite any Clients. You can always invite them later from your project settings.
  8. Optional: as a final step, you will now be prompted to invite any additional Collaborators to your new project. A Collaborator is anyone else you work that is not part of your company who you'd like to join the project. This might include architects, interior designers, subcontractors, or other vendors. Simply enter the email address for each Collaborator you wish to invite and tap the red send invite button at the bottom. Note: this step is optional - you can tap skip in the top right if you are not yet ready to invite any Collaborators. You can always invite them later from your project settings.
  9. Congrats - your project has now been created!
